Messy Eater

Thought I would share some pictures of Mary Anna and her first taste of spaghetti.

Easter 2008

got my ears on!

easter egg hunt at school

yum!

Thank you easter bunny.

Even though it was our second Easter we sure got the hang of putting the eggs in the basket! And believe it or not she was not afraid of the Easter Bunny like she was of Santa Clause.

Mary Anna's first birthday party ....

Mary Anna's first birthday party was Sunday the 9th (one day before her real birthday on the 10th). There was a full house of family and friends to help us celebrate. In the picture you can see that she is not sure as to why all of us are singing "at her" and it looks as if she is thinking if I lean over enough in my chair maybe they will stop! Since she has not had any thing as sweet as the cake before I was wondering what she would think. After a little coxing she dug in to her piece no problem. The same thing happened as did at Christmas in that she was fixed on the first present that was opened and was not in to the others until a little later. The new zebra riding toy was enjoyed by our friends Mallory and Katie - we hope they will come back and play soon - but we might have to get a second zebra since our birthday girl was voicing her opinion on others playing with her toys. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful, wonderful and much loved birthday girl!!!

Mary Anna goes to great grandma's house

Mary Anna and mommy went to vist grandma Musette last weekend for her birthday.

I have 6 teeth coming in now!

If you notice the school house in the picture that was mine when I was her age - an original Playschool with all the pieces.

No matter where we are kitchen toys are always fun. Especially when some we found date back to WWII (really not kidding!).

Got my purse ready to go!

Mary Anna is 11 months and already is set to to go shopping - she has her Coach "girlie" purse and the cell phone is on the tray ready to go! I can't believe it is only one month until she will be one year old. She likes to hold on to your hand and walk and will stand alone but we have not taken a step by our self. Since we are getting so big baby food is not always cutting it any more so a favorite big people food is macaroni and cheese. What a year it has been!
